Stoke Gifford is a suburb to the north of Bristol. It is a mostly residential area, with a mix of both young professionals and families living there. It expanded greatly in the 1980s, and its appeal is enhanced by the presence of Bristol Parkway station which provides fast and frequent train services to Bristol benefiting the many residents who commute to the city for work.
However, it’s not essential to travel far for work as the suburb itself has a number of large employers including Aviva, Hewlett Packard and the University of the West of England (UWE).
